Public Transport in Antibes
Regional Trains
Gare d’Antibes train station (address; Place Pierre Sémard, Antibes 06600) is centrally located in Antibes town and with its striking red/terracotta colour painted building easy to see from a distance. The train services, TER (Transport Express Régional) or SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer français, French National Railways) run frequent services all along the coast, west from Antibes to Cannes and east to Nice, Monaco and Menton. The views of the coastline are especially lovely heading east but do be aware that strikes can be frequent.
Tickets can be reserved in advance on and delivered to the UK (and elsewhere) or collected at a ticket machine, station ticket office or boutique. If you choose to reserve online and collect your train tickets at the station ticket machine make sure to have the bank card and PIN with you, along with the reservation reference number.
Buses
The bus network in and around Antibes is excellent. The “Envibus” line have 31 bus routes in Antibes and with other lines connecting with the surrounding towns and villages it's easy to travel even further into Provence. The main Gare Routiere (bus station), Antibes is in Place General de Gaulle in the centre of town.
For 1€ a ‘Ticket Azur’ travel card allows you to travel on two successive forms of public transport across a network of regional buses as well as the Nice tram providing the 2nd leg of the journey is undertaken within 3 hours of the first.
The easiest procedure is to obtain the Ticket Azur card when you board your first bus. Simply tell the driver your journey’s destination, pay 1€ and you will be presented with a magnetic Ticket Azur card along with a “Ticket Azur facturette” (the receipt valid for the whole journey). The facturette must be validated on the 2nd bus/tram within 3 hours of issue by swiping the magnetic card.

Taxis in Antibes
The main taxi service is operated by Allo Taxi Antibes. They are located at five local points; Gare SNCF d'Antibes, Place de Gaulle/Boulevard Albert 1er (downtown Antibes), Gare SNCF Juan-les-Pins, Pinède de Juan-les-pins and on the corner of avenue Guy de Maupassant / boulevard Edouard Baudoin. Taxi drivers are bilingual (French & English). Reservations for Allo Taxi Antibes cannot be made online but the 24/7 phone number is: 04 93 67 67 67
Car Hire
Car hire is not essential if you're planning to limit your stay to Antibes, with perhaps day trips along the coast.
